A Joyful Easter Weekend At Barty House Care Home

Residents gathered on Good Friday to enjoy a traditional roast lamb lunch, thoughtfully prepared with all the trimmings by our wonderful kitchen staff. After tucking into fabulous food our afternoon was made even more special by the return of familiar family friends who joined for lunch and a long-overdue catch up.
The afternoon brought live entertainment from PJ and Rose, whose music had everyone singing along. It was a simple pleasure, but one that brought real joy to the room and set the tone for the rest of the weekend. Thanks go to Pauline, Karen, Brenda and the kitchen team, as well as those who kindly donated raffle prizes, for creating such a memorable day for us this easter!

Easter Sunday began on a quieter, but no less meaningful note. Residents chose their own breakfasts, each one accompanied by a chocolate Easter egg. There were plenty of smiles around the table, a reminder that small, thoughtful touches can mean the most.
The celebrations continued across the weekend, from Marco’s engaging magic on Saturday to a relaxed pâté tasting on Monday that offered a savoury close to the festivities. It was a weekend full of variety, where good food, shared moments and friendly faces came together naturally.

From all of us at Barty House, we hope everyone enjoyed a peaceful and happy Easter.
