At Barty House Care Home, our dedicated team work hard to create meaningful moments for our residents that include the people that they hold closest to them. From special celebrations to relaxed afternoons spent together, we love bringing our residents, their families and the wider Maidstone community together to make memories that last.
This summer, we were delighted to do just that at our Summer Fayre, where everyone came together to enjoy a wonderful afternoon in our garden, filled with fun, laughter and plenty of sunshine.
Our residents, friends and families were treated to a delicious, sizzling BBQ, whilst Punch and Judy provided us with some traditional entertainment. Our residents chatted amongst themselves, laughed, and some even began to dance when PJ and Rose brought out some music.
Our day was filled with engaging activities for our residents, and our teddy tombola, raffles and stall also proved to be popular throughout the day. The fayre created a wonderful atmosphere, with plenty of smiles, laughter and moments shared between residents, families, friends and our team.
It was a lovely afternoon filled with fun, friendship, entertainment and lots of ice cream, with our residents at the heart of the celebrations. The sunshine, music and activities made it a memorable day for everyone, with many happy memories made along the way. A big thank you goes to everyone who donated prizes, helped with the preparations, ran stalls or simply came along to support us. It was great to see so many people enjoying the afternoon together.
