Fire & Security Matters Awards

Finalist:

Canford Healthcare’s Health & Safety Manager Wendy Emery was a finalist in the Fire Industry Woman of the Year category. This category recognises a female fire safety professional who has made a significant contribution to the implementation or enhancement of fire safety standards. Fire risk and prevention is the favourite aspect of Wendy’s job. She has also put in place many improvements since she joined the organisation in 2022. She also works tirelessly, shuttling constantly between our 11 homes and two support offices to ensure that all are compliant with fire safety legislation for the benefit of our residents, staff and visitors.
