Aylesford Priory was the scene of a Classic Car Event on Sunday 9th September the perfect setting for some nostalgia and the hum of old engines still able to turn over after many years of being on the road.
Caroline from our Activities team knew that resident Derek had a love of motorbikes in his day and thought it might just interest him for a day out in the last of the summer sun, she was right!
Even though there were no vintage bikes on the day, they did manage to find a selection of classic bike magazines for Derek to bring home after a lovely morning out looking at all the craftsmanship of days gone by in cars that have withstood the test of time.
Derek loved his day out and even managed to laugh at Carolines jokes, which she was grateful of. A big thank you to her partner Martin who also went along on the day and helped out.
