Cartoonist is back at Barty!

The very talented Mark Thatcher Cartoonist visited Barty once again to capture the likenesses of our residents in caricatures. The afternoon was as ever very enthralling, Mark always manages to see the residents and add in a twist of humour to the drawings.

This visit Mark also went into some of the rooms to see residents and drew a much loved member of staff Brenda. Accompanying Mark was a companion from Holland where Mark now lives, she was amazed by the amount of concentration displayed by the residents whilst posing for the images.

Mark will be back later in the
year, in the meantime we will be framing the pictures for the residents to
display and keep.
