Diddy Bartlet’s Pre School Children having fun with the residents!
In Willow Lounge the sound of children’s laughter and singing filled the air, as the Diddy Bartlet Pre School Group came in for their monthly play session. All the children were remarkably well behaved! They wowed the residents with their singing, played beautifully and dressed for the occasion bringing in with them a dress up box full of delightful clothes. We had dragons and fairies amongst us, to the amusement of the residents.
The children made Pudsy Bears with the help of us all out of homemade yellow playdough, Barbara pretended to eat the dough dished up by a little one and served to her on a little plastic plate. She also managed to simultaneously brush her hair as she loves to look immaculate at all times.
The quote of the morning came from our dear sweet Edie who said; “I love em, but I wouldn’t want to keep them!” Later in the morning a little lad drew carefully around her hand and his own with a crayon making a really sweet picture.
To close the session the Barty parachute came out to the utter delight of the children as they sang and jumped about beneath it. The Diddy Bartlet’s will be returning in December for a Christmas Party.
