On what may have been one of the last warm sunny days of this long hot summer, the residents of Barty House took to the road and made their way to the beach.

Taking a stroll past the beach huts, and making a fuss of all the dogs they met along the way. Carer Pauline who volunteered her time for the trip, skimmed pebbles into the water for the residents to see. They finished off the outing drinking tea on the seafront and chatting happily. A big thank you also to Brenda from Activities who also came in on her day off, and was no doubt responsible for the sing-a-long on the Oomph bus whilst driving along. She does love to get the residents singing!
