Hidden Talents

Mel one of our hard-working domestic staff members has been busying herself in her spare time recovering the Monckton Lounge dining chairs. We have decided after all her hard work to shine a light on her hidden talent, given the remarkable job she has done on the chairs.

She and her husband have recently built a workshop in their garden to combine their self-taught talents of furniture restoration and upholstery. Mel painstakingly took off all the old worn out faded fabric, spending 13 hours per chair to bring them back to their original glory.
