Remembrance Sunday is always a poignant time for the residents at Barty, this year marks 100 years and made the day even more notable. To be marked with dignity and quiet reflection.

Leading up to Remembrance Sunday, the residents along with Brendan from Activities designed beautiful new church windows. They were rightfully very proud of their efforts and the windows will be used throughout the year for the monthly church services.

We hope you agree that the design they chose reflects the high regards they feel for all those lost souls who fought on our behalf. The residents also put their talents to the test and created some really lovely poppy garlands and wreaths for the occasion.

Lest we forget. They shall not grow old.
