Daphne, Alan, Valerie and Dennis set off for Rochester Cathedral on the Oomph bus last Friday full of anticipation of a great morning out. They were not disappointed in the least!

Alex a worker at the Cathedral was knowledgeable and helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. Thankfully Caroline popped in the day prior to let them know we were coming and they pulled out all the stops to make the residents visit wonderful, making sure all aspects of the cathedral were accessible. As such everyone was able to enjoy a lovely cup of tea in the beautiful crypt, with its vaulted ceiling and floor lights illuminating all its glorious features.

Daphne absolutely loved the trip and even managed a little shopping in the gift shop buying two little guardian angel brooches as gifts.

We will be showing resident Keith all the lovely pictures taken on the day as he was a choir member at the Cathedral for over fifteen years, but unfortunately was unable to join us.
