Ted takes on another paper round at nearly 90 years old!
As a young lad living in Bearsted Ted remembers vaguely having been a “paper boy” and by fourteen he was working in the Village Grocery Store and stayed within their employment for over 60 years.
Now at the tender age of almost 90 years young Ted has once again taken on a daily paper round. He can be found working his way around Barty in the mornings delivering the “Daily Sparkle” a wonderful reminiscence daily edition that the residents love to read and discuss. He takes his responsibility seriously and though a gentle quiet soul enjoys chatting and meeting people on his rounds.
