The Barty staff’s children and grandchildren along with the resident’s families children dressed for the occasion looking very sweet and not at all scary at Barty this Halloween.
To the resident’s delight, the children tapped politely on their doors, once they had spotted the carefully placed glitter pumpkins attached to the doors indicating it was ok to visit, to find a trick or a treat. Luckily for the little ones all the residents had little orange pumpkin buckets filled with delicious spooky sweeties for them to collect in their bags. The residents absolutely loved greeting the children who were all dressed to impress in their Halloween costumes. As for the children they went home happily laden with sweets, cakes and biscuits. ( Please note we accept no responsibility for poorly behaved children suffering from a “sugar rush” following their visit!)
We also watched an episode of the classic old black and white Munster’s show and the staff took part albeit fairly hesitantly in “Apple Bobbing”
What a Spooktacular evening! Thank you to everyone who came along to enjoy a not so scary fun Halloween with us!
